Town manager Joe Royle will be taking on one of his best friends in football when the Blues meet Brighton and Hove Albion at the Withdean Stadium on Tuesday night (7.45pm). Royle has been impressed with the job that Steve Coppell has done at Brighton since he took over but will be seeking to put an end to their recovery.

Town manager Joe Royle has turned down a loan bid from Sheffield Wednesday for Tommy Miller. New Owls boss Chris Turner was Miller's manager at Hartlepool before the 24-year-old's £800,000 move to Portman Road in the summer of 2001.
